Bottle recycling business
Our specialized workers use their skills to maintain
the quality of one-way bottles
In contrast with returnable bottles, which are washed and reused,
one-way bottles are used only once.
One-way bottles are crushed at factories and changed to cullet, which is used as a raw material for glass bottles.
Tobe-Shoji responds to the quality needs of cullet factories by employing specialized workers
who quickly remove contaminants and achieve accurate color sorting.
Key points related to our
bottle recycling business
Removal of contaminants at the sorting stage.
If cullet that contains caps, heat-resistant glass, and other contaminants is delivered to bottle factories, the strength of the newly created bottles is decreased. To ensure cullet quality, Tobe-Shoji removes as many contaminants as possible at the sorting stage.
Recovery of returnable bottles to eliminate waste.
In more than a few cases, returnable bottles—which can be washed and reused—are mixed in with the many empty bottles we recover. Our highly experienced specialized workers quickly remove returnable bottles and send them to the bottle washing line.
Sorting of three to six colors.
Tobe-Shoji is also confident when it comes to the sorting of bottles by color. In response to the needs of cullet factories, we accurately sort bottles based not only on the basic three-color scheme (colorless, brown, and other) but also based on a six-color scheme that includes colorless, brown, black, green, blue, and mixed-color bottles.
